Free tool · Deadlines

Your SA compliance deadlines, on one calendar.

Tell us how your business is set up — VAT, payroll, entity type, year-end — and get the main SARS, CIPC, B-BBEE and FSCA deadlines for the next 12 months, computed on your device and rolled over weekends and public holidays where the rule moves them. Export it to your calendar with reminders, or print it. Free, private, no sign-up. An individual's or trust's own income-tax return isn't included.

Your business

Set these to match your business — the calendar updates as you go.

Sets your provisional-tax dates.

VAT201 files on eFiling by the last business day of the month after your period.

From your CIPC certificate. Enter it to add your annual-return deadline (30 business days after the anniversary).

Private by design — your calendar is built on your device and is never sent to us.

Your next 12 months

The .ics import adds every date to Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar with a reminder 7 days ahead.

Don't just diarise them — have them watched.

The calendar is yours to keep. Komply goes further: it lists the SARS returns you actually file with their due dates, shows the ones due in the next 30 days in a digest on the 1st, and keeps a dated record you can hand to a buyer or the Regulator. Claim a free pilot seat.

A note on these dates

Indicative dates generated from your profile — not tax or legal advice. SARS, CIPC and the FSCA set the binding dates and can change them; VAT assumes eFiling; and a once-off public holiday (an election day, say) can shift a deadline. The Compensation Fund gazettes the Return of Earnings season each year (in 2026, 1 April to 30 June), so a season not yet gazetted isn't shown. Confirm anything you rely on with SARS or your accountant.

How it works

The dates are computed from the actual rules — not a static list that goes stale.

01

You describe your business

A few non-sensitive questions — VAT frequency, payroll, entity type, financial year-end. Nothing personal, nothing stored; it all stays in your browser.

02

We apply the actual rules

Each date is the real rule, not a guess — the EMP201 7th, the last-business-day VAT deadline, provisional tax off your year-end — rolled back over weekends and SA public holidays.

03

You keep it — or have it watched

Export to Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar with reminders, or print it. Want your SARS returns tracked against your real filings, with what falls due in the next 30 days emailed on the 1st? That's Komply.

These are indicative planning dates, not tax advice — the regulators set the binding ones. For how the four regimes fit together, see the South African compliance stack, or price a missed SARS deadline with the cost-of-non-compliance calculator.
