A CPD ledger per Key Individual and Representative
Hours tracked per person against the BN 194 minimum for their class count (section 33). The minimum falls due when the cycle ends on 31 May; until then Komply shows who is behind its own pace, while there is still time to catch up.

A complaints register with response targets
Every complaint is tracked against Komply's own targets: 5 working days to acknowledge and 20 to resolve, excluding SA public holidays. The General Code of Conduct itself sets no day count. If none came in over a period, an owner or admin can attest to that, dated and named, and on Pro the complaints component then scores in full. On Pro, escalated complaints get the FAIS Ombud response bundler: a composed chronology, narrative and evidence list you review before anything leaves. The Ombud's letter sets the date your reply is due.

The annual ICMP report, drafted
A Komply-drafted Internal Compliance Monitoring Programme report, composed from the register data across CPD, complaints, COI, fit-and-proper and cyber. You edit every section; the FSP principal signs it off.

A debarment check on record at every hire
Each new KI or Rep gets a debarment-check record at capture, linked to the FSCA's debarred-persons register. Automated matching against a mirrored register is being built; until it ships, Komply records the check as not yet verified, never as clean.

The rest of the inspection file
Conflict-of-interest register with a COI Management Policy generator (Pro); a signed policy is kept exactly as signed. There is a one-page material-change letter, logged when you add a representative, and a cyber-incident log (Pro) for the FSPs Joint Standard 2 of 2024 covers. Changes to your licence information go to the FSCA within 15 days (FSCA FAIS Notice 29 of 2023); a new key individual may need FSCA approval before acting.

A share link that protects names
The share view and its PDF cut key individuals' and representatives' names to initials and leave complainants out. Every open is logged, and you can revoke the link before its 30 days are up.

Does Komply replace my Compliance Officer?
No. The judgment calls — suitability, interpretation, sign-off — stay with a human who carries professional responsibility. What Komply replaces is the assembly work: the register upkeep, the CPD chase and, on Pro, the ICMP drafting that consumes CO hours (and CO invoices) without needing CO judgment.

Does Komply submit anything to the FSCA for me?
No. You file through the FSCA's own portals, with your FSP's credentials. Komply surfaces the deadlines and, on Pro, generates the audit-ready documents; you upload yourself.

Which FSP categories does Komply support?
It is built for Category I advice FSPs, sized for firms with 1 to 25 Key Individuals and Representatives. Category II, IIA, III and IV licence holders can keep their registers in Komply, and readiness scoring follows Category I. The ICMP report cadence follows your category: twice a year for Category II, IIA and III, once a year otherwise. The COI policy generator ships five starter templates by FSP category.
