Terms of service

The service
Komply is a continuous-compliance monitoring service operated by Auto Alpha Advisory. We run scheduled and on-demand scans against the public domain you nominate, calculate compliance scores, and surface findings via a dashboard and monthly email digest.
Your account
You're responsible for the actions taken in your workspace, including those of additional members you invite. Keep your sign-in email secure — the magic-link model means anyone with access to your inbox can sign in as you.
Subscription & billing
Plans bill monthly via PayFast in South African Rand, ex. VAT, at the price listed on getkomply.co.za/#pricing. You can switch tiers or cancel from the billing page at any time; cancellation propagates back to us via PayFast webhook within minutes. When you cancel, your access continues to the end of the current paid period.
Refunds
We don't offer pro-rated refunds for partial months. If a subscription was charged in error or the service was materially unavailable, email hello@getkomply.co.za and we'll make it right.
Acceptable use
Only nominate domains you own or have permission to monitor. Don't attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or use Komply to scan domains on behalf of unrelated third parties without our written agreement.
Limits
Komply's output is decision-support tooling, not a legal opinion or a guarantee of compliance. Use the findings to inform conversations with your attorney, accountant, or compliance officer — they are not a substitute for professional advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes that can't be resolved by email go to the courts of the Western Cape.
Changes
We'll notify you in-app and by email at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the new terms.
